In the 1930’s, our great-grandparents decided to make Holt County, Missouri home. Since then our family has lived the farmer’s script - work hard, pray for rain, and hope for generous grain prices. Generation after generation we’ve followed the example of our predecessors, growing the farm through hard work and perseverance.

Times change but the challenges all farmers face have largely stayed the same. Mother nature’s unpredictability - flood one year, drought the next - as well as escalating input prices and a volatile grain market to name a few. Though we believe the future is bright, providing opportunities for future generations and communities is becoming more and more difficult for the modern farmer.

Recognizing the challenges, we flipped the script on the typical farmer’s story. Don’t get us wrong, we are still farmers through and through and always will be.
